Did you know that during the World War II the ocean liner Rex ran aground near Izola? It was as big as the Titanic, even more luxuriously equipped, and so fast that it set a transatlantic speed record in 1933. Before it ran aground, it was thoroughly looted and then cut up for scrap metal; the remains of the ship now lie on the seabed near Izola.
Today we can admire Rex only in photographs, yet many interesting stories still circulate about it. Set off in Rex’s footsteps – a surprise may be waiting for you.

REX: What is cabin 87 hiding?
Story
In the past, some newspapers reported that during World War II a German officer hid a rich treasure in cabin 87 on the ship Rex. After the war, the officer was even accused of concealing assets, but they were unable to prove his guilt. But what if the treasure really did exist?

To this day, no one has managed to discover the mystery of cabin 87. Will you be the one? You have only 60 minutes.
